Marriage Ministry @ TFH
We at the Father's House celebrate marriage as one of life's greatest experiences and a true gift from God. The Bible is clear about marriage being a blessing for both a man and a woman who find each other, covenant together to become one and spend the rest of their lives together as husband and wife. TFH Marriage Ministry consists of 4 programs designed to support your marriage. Please contact the TFH office at 707.455.7790 for more information.
2b1 Premarriage Mentoring
If you are planning to get married in the next year then we strongly encourage couples to go through Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts, the award winning mentoring program that asks seven key questions to help couples identify and overcome stumbling blocks to building a healthy, long lasting marriage. Each couple is paired with a trained mentor couple who will coach them through this important season of marriage preparation. 2b1 lasts 8-10 weeks.
Marriage Small Groups
Life, growth and healing happen in small groups. We encourage every married couple to attend at least one marriage small group a year. Whether your marriage is doing well or struggling a bit, a marriage small group can help you build a stronger relationship and bring healing to a broken one. To find a marriage small group visit www.tfh.org and click on the Small Groups tab.
Common Care Counseling
For couples needing one on one attention given to their marriage we have counselors who will meet with you for up to 8 weeks. These are volunteer counselors who have a heart for marriage and a skill set to help you look at your marriage and get you going on the right path to restoration. If you would like to learn more about Common Care Counseling, please contact the church office at 707.455.7790.
TFH Marriage Conference
Each year on the third week of September we host a marriage conference designed to give practical instruction, Biblical
doctrine and enlarged faith for your marriage. World class communicators, workshops and materials are all a part of this
great event. For details visit www.tfh.org.
