Why Do We Go?
Cambodia, one of the world’s poorest nations, has faced immense challenges since the late 1970s when over 2 million people were killed under Pol Pot’s Khmer Rouge regime. This tragic period left widows and orphans without essential resources like food, shelter, and medicine. FCOP International, a church-planting movement, is committed to caring for widows, orphans, and separated children in need. Their mission is to build God’s kingdom by addressing urgent needs and providing holistic support to bring healing and hope to hurting and oppressed people.
Our Response
By joining this team, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with FCOP International and care for widows and orphans. During this trip, we will visit children’s homes in remote areas of Cambodia, ministering to their physical and spiritual needs. We will assist with security improvements at one of the homes, helping to create a safe and secure environment for the children—an essential step in preventing human trafficking.

ApplicationWe believe when people engage in service, it leads to life change. Our short-term trips provide opportunities for people to serve together in various locations around the world. Our belief is that as people chose to serve, whether in one of our churches, in the local community, or around the world, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving, for the people they serve, and even for those that see them choosing to give their time to help someone else.
For those of you who have not gotten involved, we hope this will be the year you choose to begin a lifestyle of service. And to those who are serving, we just want to say thank you. You are the reason the mission is being accomplished.
