Over the past 2 years, we have seen first-hand, and have been reminded, that the Church cannot be stopped! Jesus promised us that, “He would build His church,” and no power would be able to stop it (Matthew 16:18). God has been faithful and has given us the vision to take new ground once again, reach more people, and expand the Kingdom of God through the ministries of The Father’s House.
We are beyond excited about the fresh vision and countless opportunities that are right in front of us. For example, we are going to be revamping our Kid’s ministry spaces to make a place for children and their families, we will be working on a new ministry center upstairs to make room for the lost and the broken to learn about Jesus, and we will be working to expand our parking lot to make room for more people to come and encounter God’s presence. These are truly amazing days of harvest, and we want to make room for the lost!
Our heart for this year’s Legacy offering is that everyone who calls TFH their home would be involved. It’s not about the amount you give, but your willingness to pray, obey, and give sacrificially as the Lord leads you. As we all do this, we will see the following verse at work in our lives!
“This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God, wealthy in every way so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.” (2 Corinthians 9:10-15).
Thank you for investing your life into what Jesus gave His for, The Church!
In Matthew 28 Jesus tells us to go and make disciples of all nations. We have seen that as people choose to serve on the mission field, the impact of that service will change lives—for those serving and for those being discipled. This year’s Legacy focus on Missions is in three significant areas.
First, we have partnered with Kingdom Builders Ministries because they have successfully built 43 churches and over 700 homes in Tijuana and the surrounding region. Our goal is to build a local, life-giving church where they can provide physical and spiritual aid to their communities. Your giving will cover the cost of all land purchases, building materials, and labor. This investment will impact Mexico for generations to come. As the funds are raised for this dream, you will have an opportunity to go on this mission trip to help build this church.
Second, One Child, in expanding their ability to provide food for children. One Child is a global community of Child Champions that serves children in poverty so they can discover hope and reach their God-given potential. We are inviting you to partner with us as we support them in expanding their kitchen facilities to feed even more impoverished children around the globe.
Third, we would also like to continue financially supporting and encouraging Ukrainian Pastors and Pastors in surrounding countries to provide needed help and resources.
Over the years, we have had the privilege of helping our own TFH church plants and dozens of other plants that are a part of the TFH Network. Our heart as a church is to assist them by adding support, encouragement, consulting, and training to help these young church planters to be successful.
Your generosity allows us to help young pastors purchase sound equipment, and programming supplies for nursery, pre-k, and elementary-aged kids, offset the cost of rental expenses, set up and tear down materials, and marketing materials. Your Legacy giving also helps the pastors directly, with their training, conference attendance, coaching, counseling, and team building. All of these things help prepare them and make them better pastors and leaders for their communities.
Your generosity is going to help us to support dozens more church planters, but we want to highlight one of our church planters as an example of the type of people we are investing in.
Pastors Marc & Jill Bigby are the Lead Pastors of Belong Church in Santa Barbara, CA. Marc and Jill have been married since 2001 and have three amazing children. Through their history of helping with church plants and serving in ministry, they felt the call to lead and plant a church in Santa Barbara, CA. Their family’s mission is to be a vessel for the people of Santa Barbara, CA to discover life in Jesus.
For over 8 years, We Love Our City, a ministry of The Father’s House, has been feeding our community. Currently, we feed over 650 families per month in Concord and San Pablo giving away non-perishables, bread, and dessert. We recently started giving away fresh produce to make meals healthier for families in our community. To give away healthier foods, such as milk, cheese, and proteins, we need a refrigerated truck. With your generosity, we will be able to provide healthy food for each family. A refrigerated truck will be a game changer for this ministry.
We all have neighbors or know of under-resourced areas in our city that need to hear the good news about Jesus and serving physical needs is a great door for the Gospel. We will continue to resource the under-resourced, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and give good news to the poor. With your help, The Father’s House will be able to expand and adopt new blocks allowing us to serve more people who desperately need support, encouragement, and love.
All we do is ask you to pray and then give as the Lord leads you. We are confident that our investment in our community will not return void. God is moving and the best is still yet to come!
We exist so that people far from God will find life in Christ. At The Father’s House East Bay, we believe in making room for people far from God. With your generosity, we want to make more space for families by upgrading our Kid’s ministry. We want to create a church environment that children are excited about! We want learning about God to be something your kids love to do. With the planned improvements, there will be a space for your children to learn about God and have fun. This ministry will be something your kids will want to tell their friends about! We also want to develop and upgrade our ministry center upstairs. This will make room for the many ministries we have at TFH East Bay, like our New Believer’s class, our marriage ministry, and our healing class.
This space will also allow us to grow into other ministries without having to worry about the space to hold everyone. Finally, we also want to expand and improve our parking lot. We want to make room for the families and friends that you invite in the future, the people far from God. We love what God is doing at East Bay and with these improvements, we know that our campus will grow and reach the people of the greater East Bay area!
Gifts to Legacy General will be used for all Legacy lanes as needed.
